Polypropylene (PP)

Polypropylene is a thermoplastic polymer with excellent resistance to fatigue, heat, and chemicals. It is stiffer than polyethylene and can withstand higher temperatures, making it suitable for use in automotive components, reusable containers, and laboratory equipment. Its unique hinge property allows it to be bent repeatedly without breaking, a characteristic exploited in flip-top caps and live hinges.

  • Superior fatigue and heat resistance
  • Lightweight with high stiffness
  • Excellent for hinge-type components
  • Resistant to most chemicals and solvents

• Automotive parts • Packaging and storage containers • Caps and closures with hinges • Laboratory and medical instruments
